Question: how is that gradation done where the beautiful Tiger eye devolves from gold to green?

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to say I did not engrave this knife. It was commissioned by Barrett-Smythe and I don't remember who did the engraving. I did a similar engraving a few months ago, but I'm not able to do the lacquer work in the Tiger's eye.

Glad that you have found this great forum. It is a long time and many miles since we said goodby in Lynchburg. Do you still wear a tie while engraving?You should post photo's I am sure they will be greatly appreciated.
