We had a great time in Atlanta, from the show to the dinner and after.
We met wonderful people and had a blast doing it, we will do it again.

To all of you that I didn't meet, it was because this was my first show like this and I didn't know how to find you. I hope I can do a better job next year.

I wanted to meet so many that I talk with, I thought we would meet some of you at the dinner. But we were late because the hotel driver had to get gas in the car before he could take us to the dinner, what can you do.

Needless to say we were late, I hate being late....we sat at the far end of the table and talked with some really nice people.
I wanted to stay longer, but after the day of walking around the show, I am not used to that much walking, while everyone went out for a drink,,,I had MORPHINE !!!, I sure won't need to do any therapy for a while...

Even Kat enjoyed herself and I had reservations on whether she would have fun at something like this show, but she is used to me and gun shows when we first started dating, so this wasn't much different for her. This just involved a plane trip, and she loves to fly,,,, I DON'T.

To all, have a great year, see you next year !!!

I had a great time also at my 1st ever blade show. I get home and start looking at the books I got there. I had Steve,Ray and David sign them and now they are Ebay bound :willy_nilly: . I am just kidding. I was happy to show off some of my gadgets. I do hope some of the talent rubbed off on me from you guys. I spent all my time hanging at the engravers area after I found it.

I did order me one of them baby vices and Ray's bench. Ray my scope has a mounting pole so all we will need to do when I get there is drill the hole for my scope rod to go in.

Harold,

Did you order an engraving bench from Ray? How much and where can I order one?

I didn't ask how much. I am sure there is no way he could really price it right now. There is no time frame on it. I was just poking fun at Ray. Talk to him about it and maybe we can get him to stop his day job for us.

Hey Guys,

My friend Mark is the guy who is going to make the benches (so I don't have to stop my day job:lol:).

Next time he comes by we are planning on working up a parts list and a cost. If anyopne is interested I am sure Mark is willing ot make more. He is a shop teacher and a better woodworker than I am so you probably would get a bit better job than if i did it anyway.

I will ask him how many he is willing to make.
