Hello, I'm a watchmaker with some basic experiance with hand engravers. Engraving was given at my school of watchmaking in Schoonhoven, Holland. That is more than 20 jears ago and now I wat to take up engraving for watches I fabricate. So I'm mostly intrested in engraving in mostly brass and steel. The air graver looks perfect for the job, With a normal hand graver it's a hard job what takes a lot of mussle power. I'm looking and reading to decide what graver system is good for me.

Welcome here and great to see yet another Dutch man on this forum.
You are welcome to have a go with the PC or Footcontrole in my workshop In Haarlem.

Welcome Hans,
Airgraver is perfect for fine detail on watch parts.Just need a big scope for the really small parts.
See my pictures below for a few jobs over the last few weeks.

Hi, Rod, thanks for the re, those pictures are on older watches, I'm planing to make dials and watchparts on more modern watches.

If you can get the time it will be a great experience to use an airgraver, Daniel Houwer is very enthusiastic about it and whout love to show you.
Me myself uses the gravermax for about 20 years and its doing quet well, but one day ill spent me one palmcontrol.
Hans do you have experience off engraving watch dial or watch part it whout intresting.
