Here are some shots of a knife I just finished. The knife I made some 10 years ago. It was returned to me for the engraving. I hope these photos are not too big Steve. If they are I can resize them. It's just nice to be able to make out the detail.

Very very nice. Your shading is masterful and the gold inlay is just right. I especially like the gold on the under side of the leaves.

Andy, Wow...Beautiful! ...and I like big pictures. Photography, knife and engraving are superb! Will the owner let you bring it to Atlanta?

Gee I don't know Steve. He might because he isn't going to be there. Gary Moore the knife dealer commissioned it and just underwent heart surgery last week I found out. He won't be going anywhere for awhile. I'm sure he will want to see it first though:)

Andy,

Very well done!

Sure wish you knife guys would put something in your pictures for size comparison. I have no idea whether this is a paring knife or a broad sword! :D :D

Very fine work INDEED Andy. I also like the gold inlay on the bottoms of the leaves. Great work and pictures to match.

Wow,

This is sooo, nice!

What camera did you use for the pics? I use an old 35mm and it just doesn't look this good.

Steve, I have a Canon Digital Rebel. It's a couple of years old now. But there isn't anything that is that much better to get me to upgrade. In reality it has more to do with the lighting than the camera. You need a large diffuse lighting source.
