Thanks Chris and Peter.

If you are leaning over on wide bright cuts, say, in the western bright style, at what width would you put aside your uniform heel 120 dgree graver and go for a flat graver?

Rod
Thanks Rod, All of the cuts (the two gold ones anyway) I used a calligraphy 123 degree V with the uniform heel. It is easier for me to lay this over than to use a flat. Also, I don't have to switch gravers back and forth this way, so it seems to go quicker cutting.

Yes, I'll say.. Their prices start at $12,000 and go to $41,000 for gold. I've engraved just a few platinum ones for them too. I don't know what they get for those. http://www.brannenflutes.com/price.html

Thanks The dots are tiny cut circles. Set the graver down and spin the vise. The U shaped ones are portions of a circle.

Thanks Phil, Karla teaches flute. Private 30minute lessons. She has 35 students a week. I tried blowing on her flute. She says I'm hopeless. I don't hear her say that to her students.
