I have to say and have said it in the past, directly to Andy, that from my point of view he will be recognized as one of the truly great knifemakers of his time. Andy is one of those rare individuals, like Buster Warenski, that has the design sense, talent, know how and drive to be truly great.
Look closely knife fans you are seeing something very rare and wonderful here.
At the last AKI Dave Darom ask me who I thought would be a good candidate for the AKI show - my answer was Andy Shinosky - without a doubt. I think he would be a breath of fresh air for the AKI. I will do my best to get Andy's name in the mix when another opening comes along
