Default Hello everybody

My name is Klaus, I am a goldsmith jewelry designer.
I am German but grew up and was trained in Switzerland; now I live in Rhode Island USA.
I have been using the palm control Lindsay graver for stone setting for a few years now.
Love the little thing.
Jim my "right hand man" and I want to get into ornamental jewelry engraving.
That's why I am here.
I am glad I was able to join such a capable group.

If it's about jewelry I might even be able to help. I am an engraving novice, jewelry making I know. From pure bench fabrication to CAD I am here to help.

A quick question:

Sometimes the Carbalt bit breaks in the back in the heft of the Palm Control hand piece. What am I doing wrong? How many screws do you use to block the bit? One or two? Did you guys encounter breakage in that area of the bit?

Thanks a lot,
Klaus
