Did you ever get those dies cut Steve? I know you've been busy for the past few years but do you really need all that sleep, every day? Seriously, have you made any progress on them?

I can say I am an expert about sitting things aside, I can't say that I've any excuse other than distraction and lack of interest. However; I can say your prototype is very nice to look at and I'm sure the end product will be worth waiting for. A man with so much talent such as yourself must have a some difficulty deciding how your time is best applied.

Old Rosie, "wood engraving" is done in the end grain, using basically normal gravers, and used to make prints (not to be confused with block prints from wood cuts cross-grain). It sounds like you are asking about wood carving more than engraving, but the airgraver should work well for either.
