Default New Guy from New Mexico

Hello : my name is Dwane Oliver , I make handmade knives and am wanting to learn the engraving arts.
I recently had a friend of mine do some engraving on a couple of knives for me. Now I want to learn it.

What is the best way to start learning?
Are there any good teachers in NM ?

Thanks for your time

Dwane
