Hi Frederick,

You can start here ;

http://www.engravingschool.com/

You also have an experienced engraving tutor Mon.Roland Baptiste in Modave in Belgium;

A starter course with Roland will definitely set a good start for you.

Welcome to The Engraving Forum by the way !

Frederik,

A good starting point is to visit the engraving glossary which will show pictures and explanations of all the tools and styles of ornament used in the trade. Just click on the link under my signature.
