I agree with Daniel - that's some mighty nice work!

Don't worry about your English - it we native speakers can't figure it out it's obviously a problem on our part since we're the ones who're supposed to know it.

Hi Vlastic,
Welcome here!
Your work shows a lot of skill. How long have you been engraving?
Where are you from in the Czech Republic? My Grandparents were from Kublov.

Vlastik,

It is wonderful to have another top international engraver here on this forum. I want to compliment you on your engraving as well as your fine web site. I hope everyone here takes a good look at it.

I have a question for you. It seems like you have done many Spyderco police knives. Do you have one customer who comissioned all of them or are they a popular item for fine engraving in Europe? Knife engravers here have advised me not to put such fine work on a factory made knife because it can not be sold for the value of the engraving. Also it looks like all of the engraving was done on one side of each knife. Is it acceptable to do only one side and leave the side with the clip unengraved?

Thanks,

Roger Bleile

Beautiful work and your website is equally beautiful. The question I have is at what age did you start your training? Keep up the good work.

Thank you
I have been engraving for 20 years.
I started my career as graphic artist and painter.
I´m from South Moravia - from Uherské Hradiště "next" Zlín.
Kublov is next Beroun, isn´t it?

Best regards.

Hello Roger!
Thank you for welcoming me on this forum. You are right. I have done many Spyderco police knives. Big part of them was for collectors of knives from Asia and Europe. Some of the knives are engraved only from one side and some of them from both sides - it depends on desire of costumer.

Best regards

Vlastik Peták

Thank you I am pleased that you like my work. I have inborn talent. I started draw different things when I was 7 years old. But I am interested in engraving for 25 years. I started with chalcography.

Best regards
