Default Happy to find this sight

Have been thinking about doing steel carving but had no idea how to start.

Looks like I found the right place.

Looking to carve a gun receiver with a bird and dog seen . I know that sounds like I have set the bar high , but "pressure creates diamonds".

My first Question is about shading . I have done pyrography and understand shading that way . My question is how do you get the shade and colouring with blueing?

I'm new so go easy on me LOL.

Joe
