Default Air Compressor Tank

Hi,

Can the Artisan Engraver be connected to regular auto air-compressor? or does it need to be a specific compressor?

I have 2HP - 77 litres/min tank. Will Artisan work with this compressor (without regulator)?

Thanks

Hi Melisa, Yes, your compressor will work. You'll need a regulator somewhere in the line though. Either at the compressor or somewhere else in line.

I have a small compressor for an airbrush, but has no boiler, could I claim for my airgraver Classic?
Thanks

I'm not certain if that compressor has enough air flow or not but one thing that you could do is add an air tank between the compressor and the airgraver. I have one that I got at the hardware store. My compressor has a small tank so I added the larger one into the line. When the compressor runs, it runs for a longer time but then the airgraver runs for a much longer time before the compressor has to turn on again.

You can engrave on that low a pressure but youre missing the range where you would normally work in. around 2 bars. And for the hard stuff up to 4 or 4.5 bars. So I would try and find something with a tank that would give at least the 4 bar. The less noise they make, the more expensive they are but the more comfortable you work.

As I feared, no good, works very low revs, but I have no problem but I have three compressors in my studio, this was an option to have in my home as it is very small and can be stored anywhere.

Como me temía no vale, trabaja a muy pocas revoluciones, pero no tengo problema tengo tres compresores mas en mi taller, este era una opción para tener en mi casa ya que es muy pequeño y se puede guardar en cualquier sitio.
