Default Demascus etching question

Currently im working on a custom rifle that all the harware is made from old 1850 demascus shotgun barrels .
Now I have refinished many a demascus barrel set . that’s not an issue .
But I have read a couple blips that if you put copper or brass in the etching salution , it will tent the part a copper brass color .
Now this I have never done . Infact I keep copper as far away from my bluing and etching tanks as possible .

Would anyone here have a photo of an etched blade that had the copper added to the etching salution ?
Is it pleasing to the eye ?
If you add brass will it give a brass color or will it revert to copper as its base ?
