Default Work in progress: my nickel holder

I have just start a project that i have want make since months ago,engrave my Lindsay nickel holder. Here are some photos of the first part of the project:









This nickel holder is very easy to engrave,you can cut it very well,if you are interested in buy one you can fond it here in the Steve tools catalog

Yes JJ only i had start engraving first the borders, now i'm working in the lateral sides with gold inlay and scroll works and maybe some bulino or sculpting image, i'm studying the themes of the three sides ( i don't will touch the one with the Lindsay's mark only i will engrave in it two little scrolls in the bottom) i will show soon some new pics, than you to all for the comments

mrthe, I was fortunate to watch some of the video chat on one of the borders several days ago...you have made a lot of progress and it is very nice work as always we see from you. I am eager to see finished product but enjoying watching its creation.
