Default Anti-MagLap and Ceramic Bench Stone

I updated the store site added two new items. http://airgraver.com/Hand_Engraving_...R%20SHARPENING
_______________________________
Anti-MagLap
Spin this lap to demagnetize gravers or other small metal objects. To use, hold the object to be demagnetized close to the center of the spinning lap and pull the object straight away from the center.

Comes with a 1/2" hole in the center so that it can be mounted on a power hone. Or it can be mounted on a "mandrel lap adapter" (sold above) so that a drill press or electric hand drill can be used to spin the lap. Big thank you to Paolo for his contribution and help with this lap! $46

Ceramic Bench Stone (8"x2"x1/2")
This ceramic stone is 1/2" thick so that it works with the Lindsay template sharpener.
Used to polish carbalt and carbide gravers with the 60,0000 grit diamond paste (sold below) or 50,000 grit concentrate spray (sold above). Can be used without diamond for polishing M42 and HSS gravers. $59

Steve,
Thanks for adding the ceramic stone. I'll take one. But your "add to cart" button isn't working on your store.

Hi Scott, Thanks for discovering that! Okay, I think the buttons work now. Let me know if not or they give trouble.

What advantage is there to spinning.
As opposed to just using an stationary ring without the center hub,
and draw the tool through.
I am assuming its an circular doughnut magnet, only the outer ring.
Also,does direction of rotation matter.

Hi Machael, It doesn't demagnetize if the lap is not spun. Rotation doesn't matter.

Hi Steve L,

How would one apply the 60,0000 grit diamond paste to the benchstone, by the rolling pin method or just by hand ?

Steve, when it's not being used what are the chances of it actually magnetising tools around it? Also, is it going to draw every bur on my bench to it?......Hang on, that mightn't be a bad thing!

Marcus when you don't use it ,you can store the lap in this way :

and you will haven't no problems about magnetising other things, all the way when it don't work, don't have an ultra magneto power hehehe you can't have problems with yours burrs.

I just tried it now too and there was an error for me too. I then held down shift and clicked the button again and it worked.

Sorry guys I have to disagree. When I scroll over the Add to cart button the cursor changes to a finger pointer all right but there's no code generated in the status bar for the ceramic bench stone. The products above it and below it show a code http//handgravers/sys etc.
Nothing happens when I click on the button to purchase the ceramic bench stone. I'll try it tomorrow from a work PC

Cheers
