Default 1911 gun engraving

Just finished engraving this springfield Armory 1911 had a lot of fun cutting this one took a little longer than i thought it would but the scroll work is geting better. Steve's PalmControl with Classic handpiece works wonderful! i am really liking it. each day i am happy to have it.and after watching Steve engrave on his videos i praciced his way of shading on this , and i liked the way it came out.

Good work man, that looks great. A person can get lost in developing the shading skills. I have been working on a piece for so long that it seems that when I move into a new region my skill has improved so much that I have to rework each time to keep the over all balance rite.... is too much fun. Thanks for sharing the photo. Jim D. Burns

Great job. Being a Jar-head myself the emblem really moves me. Keep up the great work. Thanks for the pictures.

very nice scroll design. I have a soft spot for colt 45's also so I especially like what you have done. Keep it up and keep posting your work.

There is alot of information on this site. I think I might be half way through it all if that. If Steve wanted to start an iformation site he has sure done it.
